Manage Hotspot Settings

Turn on the hotspot feature for your Galaxy S24 / S24+ / S24 Ultra to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Tap either
    Network name
    ,
    Password
     or
    Band
     to enter the Configure Mobile Hotspot menu.
  4. Tap
    Advanced
     then configure the following as needed:
    • Network name
    • Password
    • Band (2.4 GHz, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, 5 GHz preferred)
    • Security (e.g., Open, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
    • Turn off when device connected for (e.g., 20 minutes, never timeout, etc.)
  5. Tap
    Save
