Manage Hotspot Settings

Turn on the hotspot feature for your Galaxy A15 5G to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Tap
    Network name
     to enter the Configure Mobile Hotspot menu.
  4. Configure any of the following:
    • Network name
    • Password
    • Band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz preferred)
    • Security (Open or WPA2 PSK)
  5. Tap
    Advanced
    .
  6. To hide your Mobile Hotspot's name, tap the
    Hidden network switch
     to turn on.
  7. Tap
    Turn off when no device connected for
     then select an option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 60 minutes, etc.).
  8. Tap
    Save
    .
