Samsung Galaxy A15 5G - Manage RTT Settings

Here's how to use the real-time text (RTT) functionality on your Galaxy A15 5G.
Real-time text (RTT) is text transmitted instantly as it is typed or created. Recipients can immediately read the message while it is being written without waiting or the need for an additional device.

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Accessibility
    Hearing enhancements
    .
  3. Tap
    Real Time Text
    .
  4. Tap
    RTT call button
    .
  5. Select the preferred setting:
    • Visible during calls
      : Show the RTT call button only during RTT calls.
    • Always visible
      : Show the RTT call button on the keypad and during all calls.
  1. With RTT set to 'Always visible', from a Home screen, tap the
    Phone icon
     Phone icon.
    If unavailable, swipe up from the center of the display then tap
    Phone
    .
  2. Do one of the following:
    • From the Keypad tab (lower-left), enter a 10-digit number then tap the
      RTT call icon
       RTT call icon (at the bottom).
    • From the Contacts tab (lower-right), select a contact then tap the
      RTT call icon
      .
  1. While on a call, tap
    Real Time Text
    .
    If Real Time Text isn't available, tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon - 3 dots (upper-right) then tap
    Show RTT keyboard
    .
