Manage RTT Settings

Use RTT to text in real time on calls from your Galaxy A15 5G. This can help with hearing or speech issues or if you prefer typing.

Change RTT Visibility

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Accessibility
    Hearing enhancements
    .
  3. Tap
    Real Time Text
    .
  4. Tap
    RTT call button
    .
  5. Select the preferred setting:
    • Visible during calls
      : Show the RTT call button only during RTT calls.
    • Always visible
      : Show the RTT call button on the keypad and during all calls.

Make a Call with RTT

  1. With RTT set to Always visible, open the
    Phone app
     .
  2. Do one of the following:
    • From the Keypad tab, enter a 10-digit number then tap the
      RTT call icon
      .
    • From the Contacts tab, select a contact then tap the
      RTT call icon
      .

Switch a Call to RTT

  1. While on a call, tap
    Real Time Text
    .
    If Real Time Text isn't available, tap the
    3-dot Menu icon
     then tap
    Show RTT keyboard
    .

End an RTT Call

  1. While on a call, tap
    End
    .
