Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G - Add / Remove a Wi-Fi Connection

Here's how to connect to a Wi-Fi network or remove a saved connection on your Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on.
  4. Perform one of the following:
    • Connect to an Available Wi-Fi Network
      1. Tap the preferred network.
      2. Enter the appropriate password then tap
        Connect
        .
        To view the password as it is being entered, tap the
        Show password icon
         Show password icon.
    • Manually Connect to a Wi-Fi Network
      1. Tap
        Add network
        .
      2. From the Network name field, enter the appropriate name.
      3. Tap
        Security
        .
      4. Tap the applicable security option (e.g., None, WEP, WPA / WPA2-Personal, etc.).
      5. From the Password field, enter the appropriate password.
      6. Tap
        View more
         then ensure additional settings (e.g., IP settings, Proxy, etc.) are configured appropriately then tap
        Save
        .
    • Remove a Wi-Fi Connection
      1. Tap the
        Settings icon
         Settings icon next to the Wi-Fi network name.
      2. Tap
        Forget
        .
