Manage Hotspot SettingsTurn on the hotspot feature for your Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- Tap either Network name, Password or Band to enter the Configure Mobile Hotspot menu.
- Configure the following as preferred:
- Network name
- Password
- Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
- Enter the password then tapSave.
- Band (e.g., 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz)
- Security (e.g., Open, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
- TapAdvancedto configure the available options (e.g., MAC address type, Hidden network, Wi-Fi sharing, etc.).
- TapSave.
