MOTO G PLAY - 2024 - Manage Data Usage

Here's how to change the data usage cycle and set data warnings and/or limits on your moto g play - 2024.
  • Device data usage may differ from actual usage. For accurate info and bill cycle dates, visit the My Verizon website.
    For Business Customer data, visit My Business.
  • To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family™.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & Internet
    Mobile network
    Verizon
    .
  3. Tap
    Data warning & limit
     then do any of the following:
    • Change Data Usage Cycle:
      1. Tap
        Mobile data usage cycle
        .
      2. Select the Usage cycle reset date then tap
        Set
        .
    • Set Mobile Data Warning:
      A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level.
      1. Tap the
        Alert me switch
         to enable.
      2. Tap
        Data warning
        .
      3. Enter the preferred warning limit (e.g., 2.0 GB, etc.) then tap
        Set
        .
    • Set Mobile Data Limit:
      Mobile data is turned off when the data usage reaches the limit indicated by the red line. To use apps needing data use Wi-Fi or adjust the limit.
      1. Tap the
        Limit switch
         to turn on.
      2. Tap
        Data limit
        .
      3. Enter the preferred data usage limit (e.g., 5.0 GB, etc.) then tap
        Set
        .
To view or limit individual app usage, refer to View / Restrict Data Usage by App.
