Google Pixel 8a - Add / Remove Speed Dial Number

Here's how to add or remove a speed dial number on your Pixel 8a.

  1. Touch and hold an empty area of a Home screen.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. From the Contacts section, touch and hold
    Direct dial
    .
  4. Drag the widget to the preferred Home screen then release.
    For the widget to be added, there must be sufficient space within the selected Home screen.
  5. Tap a contact.
    If the contact contains multiple numbers, tap the applicable number.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the 'Speed Dial' or 'Direct Dial' icon.
  2. Drag the item up to
    Remove
     then release.
