Customize Your Home Screen

Personalizing the Home screen on your TCL 50 LE makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove or arrange apps, use widgets or set a wallpaper that matches your style.

Add Apps

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Touch and hold the desired app.
  3. Drag-and-drop the icon onto the preferred Home screen location.

Add Widgets

  1. Touch and hold an empty area of a Home screen.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. Tap an app (e.g. Calendar, Clock, etc.) to view the available widgets.
  4. Touch and hold a widget.
  5. Drag-and-drop the widget onto the preferred Home screen location.
  6. If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.

Add / Remove Folders

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an app (e.g., Calendar).
  2. To create a folder, drag-and-drop the app onto another app (e.g., Gmail).
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To rename a folder:
      1. Tap the folder.
      2. Tap the default title (e.g., Google, Tools, etc.).
      3. Enter a new name then tap the
        Checkmark icon
        .
    • To remove a folder:
      1. Drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.

Remove Apps / Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, shortcut, etc.).
  2. Tap
    Remove
    .

Set Wallpaper

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank space.
  2. Tap
    Wallpapers & style
    .
  3. Tap
    Change wallpaper
    .
  4. Select a wallpaper category (e.g., Static wallpapers, My photos, etc.).
  5. Locate then tap the preferred picture.
  6. Tap
    Apply
     then select an option:
    • Home screen
    • Lock screen
    • Home screen and lock screen
