Switching to a new device, traveling or troubleshooting a connectivity issue? Learn how to quickly and easily insert or remove the SIM card for your TCL 50 LE.

Before you begin

Don't insert or remove the SIM card while the device is powered on.

Steps

  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. From the left side of the device (display facing up), use the insertion / removal tool or a paperclip to unlock the card tray by inserting it into the provided slot then remove the tray.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To insert the SIM card, place the SIM card in the tray with the gold contacts facing down and the notch aligned with the SIM tray.
    • To remove the SIM card, once the tray is removed, lift the SIM card from the tray.
  4. Push the card tray back into the device.
