Manage RTT Settings

Use RTT to text in real time on calls from your TCL 50 LE. This can help with hearing or speech issues or if you prefer typing.

Change RTT Visibility

  1. Open the
    Phone app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    3-dot Menu icon
    Settings
    Accessibility
    .
  3. Tap
    Real Time Text Visibility
    .
  4. Tap
    RTT Visibility
     then select from one of the following options:
    • When Placing Calls
    • Only During Calls

Make a Call with RTT

  1. If 'When Placing Calls' is enabled, open the
    Phone app
     then make a phone call.
    Once the call connects, RTT displays.

Switch a Call to RTT

  1. If 'Only During Calls' is enabled, while on a call, tap
    Real Time Text
    .

End an RTT Call

  1. While on a call, tap the
    End icon
     to end the call.
