Uninstall Apps

Unused apps take up storage space and slow down your TCL 50 LE. Uninstalling apps you don't need can improve performance and reduce clutter.

Before you begin

Apps included with the Android™ operating system may not have an uninstall option. However, some of those apps can be disabled, but keep in mind that disabling apps may cause related apps to malfunction.
If uninstalling an app update, ensure auto-update is disabled for the specified app until the issue is resolved with the developer.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Apps
    See all apps
    .
  3. Tap an app then do one of the following:
    • To uninstall the app:
      1. Tap
        Uninstall
        .
      2. Review the notification then tap
        OK
         to confirm.
    • To uninstall app updates:
      1. Tap the
        3-dot Menu icon
        .
      2. Tap
        Uninstall updates
        .
      3. Review the notification then tap
        OK
         to confirm.
