Manage Wireless Emergency Alerts

Emergency alerts keep you updated on situations like severe weather, public safety threats, AMBER alerts, etc. Set your TCL 50 LE to receive only the alerts you want.

Before you begin

National alerts can't be turned off.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Sound & vibration
    More sound settings
    .
  3. Tap
    Wireless Emergency Alerts
    .
  4. From the Alerts section, tap any of the following to turn on or off:
    • Extreme threats
    • Severe threats
    • AMBER alerts
    • Public Safety messages
    • State and Local tests
  5. Tap the
    Vibration switch
     to turn on or off.
  6. Tap
    Alert reminder
     then select an option (e.g., Once, Every 2 minutes, etc.).
  7. If applicable, tap the
    Spanish switch
     to turn on or off.
