Customize Your Home Screen

Personalizing the Home screen on your TCL TAB 10 NXTPAPER 5G makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets or set a wallpaper that matches your style.

Add Apps

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Touch and hold the desired app.
  3. Drag-and-drop the icon onto the preferred Home screen location.

Add Widgets

  1. Touch and hold an empty area of a Home screen.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. Touch and hold a widget.
  4. Drag-and-drop the widget onto the preferred Home screen location.
  5. If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.

Add / Remove Folders

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g., Email).
  2. Drag-and-drop the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g., Gmail) to create a new folder.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To rename a folder:
      1. Tap the folder.
      2. Tap the
        title bar
        .
      3. Enter a name then tap the
        Checkmark icon
        .
    • To remove a folder:
      1. Drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears or drag-and-drop the folder onto Remove at the top of the screen.

Remove Apps / Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, shortcut, etc.).
  2. Drag-and-drop the item onto Remove at the top of the screen.

Set Wallpaper

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank space.
  2. From the onscreen prompt, tap
    Wallpapers
    .
  3. Select a wallpaper category (e.g., Photos, Wallpapers, etc.).
  4. Locate then tap the preferred picture.
  5. Tap
    Set Wallpaper
     then select an option:
    • Home screen
    • Lock screen
    • Home screen and lock screen
