Setting data limits or warnings on your TCL TAB 10 NXTPAPER 5G helps you stay aware of your usage habits, which can be useful if your plan provides a fixed amount of data.

Before you begin

Device data usage may differ from actual usage. For accurate info and bill cycle dates, visit the My Verizon website. For business customer data, visit My Business.
To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Family.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Data usage
    .
  3. Below the applicable SIM (e.g., SIM 1, ESIM, etc.) tap
    Data warning & limit
     then do any of the following:
    • To change the data usage cycle:
      1. Tap
        Cellular data usage cycle
        .
      2. From the Usage cycle reset date prompt, select the cycle date then tap
        Set
        .
    • To set a mobile data limit:
      1. Tap
        Set data limit
         to turn on.
      2. Review the prompt, then tap
        OK
        .
      3. Tap
        Data limit
        .
      4. Enter the preferred data limit (e.g., 2.0 GB, 5.0 GB, etc.) then tap
        Set
        .
    • To set a mobile data warning:
      1. Tap
        Alert me
         to turn on.
      2. Review the prompt, then tap
        OK
        .
      3. Tap
        Data warning
        .
      4. Enter the preferred data amount (e.g., 2.0 GB, 5.0 GB, etc.) then tap
        Set
        .
