Before you begin

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Security & privacy
    Device unlock
    .
  3. Tap the
    Gear icon
     next to the screen lock setting to configure the following options:
    • Tap
      Make pattern visible
       to turn on or off.
    • Tap
      Lock after screen timeout
       then select an option (e.g., Immediately, 1 minute, 5 minutes, etc.).
    • Tap
      Power button instantly locks
       to turn on or off.
