Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra - Create and Send a Text Message
Here's how to create and send a text message from your Galaxy Watch Ultra.
- From the watch screen, open theMessages app.
- TapStart chat.
- Do one of the following:
- To select a contact, tap the preferred contact.
- To enter a number, tap theKeypad icon
, then tap the
Checkmark icon.
- TapStart chatthen do any of the following:
- Type a Message:
- Tap the Message field.
- Swipe up from the bottom of the watch face to change the text input method (e.g., Write text by hand, keypad, numbers, etc.) then enter a message.
- Tap theCheckmark icon.
- Use Voice Service to create text:
- Tap theMicrophone icon.
- Speak your message then tap theCheckmark icon.
- Send an Emoji:
- Tap theEmoji icon

- Tap the desired emoji then tap theSend icon.
