Enabling a SIM PIN provides extra security to your Orbic® Trophy 5G, helping to prevent unauthorized use and protect your personal info if your device is misplaced or stolen.

Before you begin

Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to get a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK). If you have Prepaid service, contact customer service to get the PUK.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security & privacy
    More security & privacy
    .
  3. Tap
    SIM lock
    .
  4. Tap the
    Lock SIM switch
     to turn on or off.
  5. Enter the SIM PIN then tap
    OK
    .
    The default SIM PIN is 1111.
  6. To change your SIM PIN, ensure Lock SIM card switch is turned on then do the following:
    1. Tap
      Change SIM PIN
      .
    2. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
    3. Enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
    4. Re-enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
