Manage Hotspot Settings

Turn on the hotspot feature for your Orbic® Trophy 5G to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    Hotspot & tethering
    Wi-Fi hotspot
    .
  3. Tap any of the following to configure:
    • Hotspot name
    • Security (e.g., Open, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
    • Hotspot password
      1. Tap the Hotspot password field to remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the preferred password then tap
        OK
        .
    • AP Band (e.g., 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz)
  4. Tap
    Keep Mobile Hotspot on
     then select the preferred option (e.g., Always, Turn off when idle for 5 min, etc.).
