Restart in Safe Mode

Restarting your Orbic® Trophy 5G in Safe Mode puts it into a diagnostic state that only runs system apps so you can determine if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.

Before you begin

An alternate method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.

Steps

  1. With your Trophy 5G powered on, press and hold the
    Power button
     until the Power off prompt appears on the screen then release.
  2. Touch and hold
    Restart
     until the Reboot to Safe Mode prompt appears then release.
  3. To confirm, tap
    OK
    .
  4. Wait for the device to restart and Safe Mode to appear in the lower left of the unlock / Home screen.
  6. To exit Safe Mode, restart the device.
