Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Set up fingerprint recognition on your Pixel 9 Pro Fold for fast, secure access. Remove saved fingerprints when troubleshooting or changing devices.

Before you begin

Open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Security & privacy

Device unlock

Fingerprint

Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.

Do one of the following:

For first-time setup:

Review the message then tap

I agree

Using onscreen prompts as a guide, lightly touch the

fingerprint sensor

on the power button multiple times to scan your fingerprint.

Tap

Done

To add more fingerprints:

From the Fingerprints section, tap
