Customize Your Home Screen

Personalizing the Home screen on your Galaxy Tab S10+ makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove or arrange apps, use widgets or set a wallpaper that matches your style.

Add Apps

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Touch and hold an app.
  3. Drag-and-drop the shortcut to the preferred Home screen.

Add Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
     at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap a widget.
  4. Touch and hold the desired widget.
  5. Drag-and-drop the widget to the preferred Home screen then release.
  6. If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.

Remove Apps / Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widgets, shortcuts, folders, etc.).
  2. When the pop-up bubble appears, release the icon then tap the
    Trash icon
    .

Add / Remove Folders

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g., Email).
  2. Drag-and-drop the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g., Gmail).
  3. Do any of the following:
    • To rename the folder:
      1. Tap
        Folder name
         at the top of the folder.
      2. Enter a name for the folder then tap
        Done
         on the lower right of the keypad.
    • To remove a folder:
      1. Drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.

Set Wallpaper

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  2. Tap
    Wallpaper and style
    .
  3. Tap
    Change wallpapers
  4. Do one of the following:
    • To use an existing wallpaper image:
      1. Tap
        Browse my wallpapers
         then select a wallpaper image from the list.
      2. Tap (check) the preferred option (Home screen, Lock screen).
      3. Tap
        Preview
         at the bottom of the screen.
      4. Tap
        Done
        .
    • To use an image from your gallery:
      1. Tap
        Gallery
        .
      2. Locate then tap the preferred photo(s) to select.
      3. Tap
        Done
        .
      4. Tap (check) the preferred option (Home screen, Lock screen).
      5. If only one image was selected, tap
        Preview
         at the bottom of the screen.
      6. Tap
        Done
        .
  5. If prompted, select the desired color palette then tap
    Apply
     or tap
    Skip
     if you don't want to change the device's theme.
