Orbic JOY 2 - Reset App

Here's how to reset apps if your JOY 2 crashes, resets or freezes.
If your Orbic® JOY 2 crashes, resets itself or freezes, it may be caused by apps and this info may help.
Personal data such as browser bookmarks and other customized app settings can be backed up to Google's servers.

Reset Individual App

This option resets app preferences and deletes all data for a single app.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Apps
    See all apps
    .
  3. Locate then select the appropriate app.
    If system apps aren't visible, tap the
    Menu icon
     then tap
    Show system
    .
  4. Tap
    FORCE STOP
    .
  5. Tap
    OK
    .
  6. Tap
    Storage & cache
    .
  7. Tap
    Clear storage
    .
    This option may not be available for some apps.
    Resetting an app doesn't remove saved items on the device (e.g., texts, pictures, voicemails, etc.); however, saved passwords for Wi-Fi, settings, backgrounds, etc. within the app itself may be reset.
  8. Tap
    Delete
    .

Reset All App Preferences

This option resets app preferences for disabled apps, notification restrictions for apps, default apps, background data restrictions for apps, and permission restrictions.

  3. Tap the

  4. Tap
    Reset app preferences
