Unused apps take up storage space and slow down your Galaxy S24 FE. Uninstalling apps you don't need can improve performance and reduce clutter.

Before you begin

Apps included with the Android™ operating system may not have an uninstall option. However, some of those apps can be disabled, but keep in mind that disabling apps may cause related apps to malfunction.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Apps
    .
  3. Locate then select the an app.
    1. Tap the
      Filter and sort icon
      .
    2. Tap the
      Show system apps switch
       to turn on.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • To uninstall the app:
      1. Tap
        Uninstall
        .
      2. To confirm, tap
        OK
        .
    • To uninstall app updates:
      1. Tap the
        3-dot Menu icon
        .
      2. Tap
        Uninstall Updates
        .
      3. To confirm, tap
        OK
