Verizon is working to move to a fully 5G capable network in the future. We do not recommend turning off 5G Standalone because we want you to experience the network gains of our 5G evolution, such as higher speeds and better performance, when they are available. You won't notice any impact to your speeds or performance with 5G Standalone in 2024. Improvements should be seen in late 2025.
