Manage Hotspot SettingsTurn on the hotspot feature for your Galaxy A16 5G to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- Configure any of the following:
- Network name
- Password
- Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
- Enter the password then tapSave.
- Security (e.g., Open, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
- Band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz preferred)
- Timeout
- TapAdvanced.
- TapTurn off when no device connected forthen select an option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 60 minutes, etc.).
- TapSave.
