Samsung Galaxy S25 / S25+ / S25 Edge / S25 Ultra - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your Galaxy S25 / S25+ / S25 Edge / S25 Ultra or turn it on or off.
  • Enabling the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Personal Identification Number (PIN) locks the SIM card so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security and privacy
    More security settings
    .
  3. Tap
    SIM card security
    .
    If unavailable (when using a physical SIM card), ensure a 5G SIM card is properly inserted.
  4. If multiple SIMs are present, select the appropriate SIM from the tabs at the bottom of the screen (e.g., SIM 1, eSIM 1, etc.).
  5. Tap the
    Lock SIM card switch
    to turn on or off.
    To change your SIM PIN, ensure the switch is turned on then do the following:
    1. Tap
      Change SIM card PIN
      .
    2. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
      The default SIM PIN is 1111.
    3. Enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
    4. Re-enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
  6. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
    OK
    .
