Activate / Set Up Device

Activate your moto g power - 2025 to get started. This ensures you can make calls, send messages, and connect to the internet.

Before you begin

Ensure a 5G SIM card is inserted into the device prior to powering on.

Depending on the options selected, some steps may appear in a different order.

Press and hold the

Power button

until the device begins to power on. Select your language then tap

Confirm the correct phone number displays then tap

To set up using another device, tap

Connect to a Wi-Fi network.

Turn privacy and security features on or off then tap

Accept & continue

Select who will be using the device then tap

Follow the onscreen instructions to agree to Google's terms of service.

From the copy apps and data screen, tap

to transfer your content or tap

Do it later

Follow the onscreen prompts to set up any other Google Services options (e.g., Gemini, Location, etc.).

To allow Verizon Services to collect Location and App info, tap

Tap

to add more storage with Verizon Cloud or secure your device with Verizon Protect.

Set your Motorola and Smart lock screen preferences then tap
