Manage Hotspot Settings

Turn on the hotspot feature for your Galaxy Tab S10 FE 5G to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Tap
    Network name
    ,
    Password
     or
    Band
     to enter the Configure Mobile Hotspot menu.
  4. Configure the following as preferred:
    • Network name
    • Password
      1. Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the password then tap
        Save
        .
    • Band
      This option can be set to 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz (preferred).
    • Security (e.g., Open, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
  5. Tap
    Advanced
     to configure the available options (e.g., MAC address type, Hidden network, Wi-Fi sharing, etc.).
  6. Tap
    Save
    .
