Add a Personal / Corporate Email AccountFollow these instructions to configure IMAP, POP3, or Exchange® account settings for an email address on your Galaxy Z Flip7 that's not serviced by Gmail™.
Before you begin
If you need assistance setting up a corporate email account, contact your Exchange / IT admin.
Add a Personal Email Account
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- Tap 'Personal (IMAP)' or 'Personal (POP3)'.Check with your email provider to determine which account type to use.
- Enter the email address then tapNext.
- Enter the password then tapNext.
- If presented, enter the applicable info (e.g., Username, Password, Server, SMTP server, port, security type, etc.) then tap theNext.
- To continue, review the permissions needed by the Gmail app then tapAgree.
- Configure the account sync frequency options then tapNext.
- Enter an account name if desired then tap theNext.
Add a Corporate Email Account
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- TapExchange.Check your email provider of Exchange / IT admin to determine which account type to use.
- Enter your corporate email address, then tapNext.
- Enter your password then tapNext.
- If setup is unsuccessful, tapSet up manuallyand engage your Exchange / IT admin for more support on:
- Email address
- Server address
- Domain
- Port number
- Username
- Password
- Activate device administration
- Sync options (e.g., Email, Contacts, Calendar)
