Adjust Brightness / Display Settings

By adjusting screen settings (e.g., Screen saver, Screen timeout, Screen zoom, etc.) on your Galaxy Z Flip7, you can reduce eye strain, improve visibility, and extend battery life.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Display
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • To adjust brightness:
      1. In the Brightness section, drag the
        slider
         left or right to adjust the amount of brightness.
      2. Tap
        Adaptive brightness
         to turn on or off.
    • To adjust display / font settings:
      1. Tap
        Font size and style
        .
      2. Touch and hold the
        dot
         then drag left or right to adjust the font size.
      3. Tap
        Font style
         then select an option (e.g. Default, SamsungOne, etc.).
      4. Tap the
        Bold font switch
         to turn on or off.
      5. Tap the
        Back Arrow icon
         to return to the Display settings screen.
      6. Tap
        Screen zoom
         and touch and hold the
        dot
         then drag it to the preferred option.
      7. Tap the
        Back icon
        .
      8. Tap
        Screen timeout
         then select an option (e.g., 15 seconds, 30 seconds, etc.).
      9. Tap the
        Back icon
        .
      10. To control what happens when the phone is charging, tap
        Screen saver
         then select an option (e.g., Colors, Photo Table, etc.).
