Customize Your Home Screen

Personalizing the Home screen on your Galaxy Z Flip7 makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.

Add Apps

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Touch and hold an app.
  3. Drag to the top of the screen then drop the shortcut to the preferred Home screen location.

Add Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. Tap the appropriate app.
  4. Touch and hold a widget.
  5. Drag-and-drop the widget to the preferred Home screen location.
  6. If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.

Add / Remove Folders

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g., Email).
  2. Drag-and-drop the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g., Calendar).
  3. To rename the folder, tap
    Folder Name
    .
  4. Enter a name for the folder then tap
    Done
    .
    To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.

Remove Apps / Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, shortcut, folder, etc.) until the menu appears then release.
  2. Tap the applicable option:
    • Select
    • Remove
    • Disable or Uninstall

Set Wallpaper

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  2. Tap
    Wallpaper and style
    .
  3. From the Wallpaper and style screen, tap
    Change wallpapers
     then perform one of the following:
    • To use an existing wallpaper image:
      1. Tap any of the following:
        • Featured
        • Graphical
        • Colors
      2. Select a wallpaper image from the list.
      3. Select an option (Home screen, Lock screen, Lock and Home screens).
      4. Tap
        Next
        .
      5. Tap
        Done
        .
      6. If prompted, select an option to change the color palette.
      7. To confirm, tap
        Apply
        .
    • To use an image from your gallery:
      1. Tap
        Gallery
        .
      2. Locate then select the preferred picture.
      3. Select an option (Home screen, Lock screen, Lock and Home screens).
      4. Tap
        Next
        .
      5. Tap
        Done
        .
