Factory Data Reset (Powered On)

Reset your TCL K33 5G to factory settings as a final troubleshooting step, or an easy way to erase your data if you're upgrading or trading your device in.

Before you begin

Perform the alternate reset method if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.
Perform a factory data reset only if necessary as it removes your Google™ account and all data including system app, app data and media.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    System
    Reset options
    Erase all data (Factory reset)
    .
  3. Tap
    Erase all data
    .
    If an SD card is inserted, tap
    Erase SD card
     to clear music, pictures and other user data on the card.
  4. If presented, enter the current unlock pattern, PIN or password.
  5. Tap
    Erase all data
    .
    If troubleshooting third-party apps, don't restore app data.
