Add / Remove a Wi-Fi Connection

Connect your Galaxy Watch8 / Watch8 Classic to a visible or hidden Wi-Fi network or remove a saved one. This can help with troubleshooting or make it easier to connect to networks you use.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Ensure Wi-Fi is turned on.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • Connect to an available Wi-Fi network:
      1. Tap the desired available Wi-Fi connection.
      2. Tap
        Password
        , enter the Password (if required) then tap
        Connect
        .
    • Manually connect to a Wi-Fi network:
      1. Tap
        Add network
        .
      2. Tap
        Network name
         then enter the name of the desired network.
      3. Tap
        Security
         then select the security type (e.g., None, WEP, WPA, etc.).
      4. Tap
        Password
        , enter the password (if required) then tap
        Done
        .
      5. Tap
        Save
        .
    • Remove a Wi-Fi connection:
      1. Tap the desired Wi-Fi connection.
      2. Tap
        Forget
        .
