GPS location access is needed by some apps on your Galaxy Watch8 / Watch8 Classic to provide turn-by-turn directions or share your location, but can be turned off to save battery life.

Before you begin

Turning GPS location services on or off is not available in Kid Setup.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Location
    .
  3. Tap the
    Location switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. Tap
    Location Accuracy
    .
  5. Tap the
    Improve Location Accuracy switch
     to turn on or off.
