One Talk W92LTE 4G DECT Base Station
Activate / Set Up Device

Activate your One Talk W92LTE 4G DECT base station to get started. This ensures you can make calls, send messages and connect to your company network.

Before you begin

The W92LTE 4G DECT base station supports the following handsets:
  • W59VR Rugged Wireless Handset
  • W59VR PRO Ruggedized DECT Handset
  • W73HV Wireless Handset
  • W78HV Wireless Handset
Up to 5 handsets can be registered to one W92LTE base station.
Activation requires a valid US address for E911 functionality.
A soft reset is needed on the base station when a new endpoint is added to the One Talk MDN.

Steps

  1. Insert the battery into the wireless handset and attach the belt clip if preferred.

  2. Connect the charging cradle and charge the handset.
    Use the supplied power adapter (5V/0.6A). A third-party power adapter may damage the cordless phone.
    Check the charging status in the upper-right corner of the display.
  3. Turn the handset on.
  4. Set up the base station using either the desktop or wall mount setup option.
  5. Connect the base station to the power and network by selecting one of the following options:
    Contact your IT admin before selecting the power option.
    • AC Power
      Use the supplied power adapter (5V/2A). A third-party power adapter may damage the base station.
    • PoE (Power over Ethernet)
      Ensure the hub/switch is Power over Ethernet (PoE) compliant.

  6. Wait for the DECT and LTE (first and third) status LEDs on the front of the base station to turn green. If necessary, refer to LED Status Indicators for more info.
  7. To register handsets:
    1. Press and hold the
      Device key
      on front of the base station until the DECT (third) LED flashes.
      Registration mode switches off automatically if the base station doesn't identify a compatible handset within 90 seconds.
    2. With the base station in registration mode, press the
      Reg soft key
      on the handset or navigate:
      OK
      Register Handset
      , select the corresponding base station then enter the base station PIN (default: 0000).
  8. To de-register handsets:
    1. On the wireless handset, navigate:
      OK
      Settings
      Registration
      De-reg. Handset
      .
    2. Enter the base station PIN (default: 0000) then press
      Done
      or
      OK
      .
      The screen displays the handset names that are registered to the same base station. The name of the wireless handset itself is highlighted and followed by a left arrow.
    3. When prompted, select the option to confirm and de-register the handset.
