Edit Access Point Name (APN)

APN settings help your MiFi® PRO M4 connect to the correct network. Incorrect settings can affect performance and security, so consult your IT admin before making changes.

Before you begin

Changing the APN may cause loss of your data connection.

LTE Access Point Name (APN) Definitions

  • vzwims
    : Used for connections to IMS services. Required for TXT messaging.
  • vzwadmin
    : Used for administrative functions.
  • vzwinternet
    : Required for general internet connections.
  • vzwapp
    : Required for PDA data service.
  • vzwcf
    : Used for connections that must be routed through content filtering.
  • xx.vzwentp
    : Used for connections to mobile private networks.
    'xx' would be replaced by the enterprise MPN identifier.
  • xx.vzwstatic
    : Used for static IP connections.
    'xx' would be replaced by the applicable static IP pool identifier.

    Network
    .
  3. Click the
    Cellular tab
    .
  4. From the APN Settings Section, enter the APN as required.
  5. Click
    Save
    .
