MAC Filtering

MAC filtering improves security by controlling device access to your MiFi® PRO M4. Limiting connections helps prevent unauthorized access and keeps your network safe.

Steps

  2. From the left menu, click
    Security
    .
  3. Click the
    MAC Filter tab
    .
  4. Click the
    MAC Filter switch
     to turn on or off.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • To whitelist a device:
      1. Enter the Hostname and MAC Address.
      2. Click
        Enable Filter
        .
      3. Click
        Save
        .
    • To delete a device:
      1. From the list of devices, click
        Delete
         to the right of the device you want to remove.
      2. Click
        Save
        .
