Configuring alerts and notification sounds for your MiFi® PRO M4 can help keep you informed of events like charging reminders, incoming messages, etc.

Via Device Display

  1. From the Home screen, tap
    Menu
    .
  2. Tap
    Settings
    .
  3. Tap
    Audio Alerts
    .
  4. Tap any of the following switches to turn on or off:
    • All Audio Alerts
    • Startup/Shutdown
    • Low battery
    • Critical low battery
    • Charging device
    • Battery preservation mode
    • USB mode
    • SIM status
    • New message
    • Device connected
    • Software update
    • Roaming
    • Wi-Fi off
    • Network selection
    • Service notifications

Via Admin Web Interface

  2. From the left menu, click
    Administration
    .
  3. Click the
    Settings & Preferences tab
    .
  4. From the Notification Settings section, click any of the following to turn on or off:
    • Run in Stealth Mode
    • Turn Off Sign-of-Life LED
    • Turn On Screen
    • When alert occurs, make an audible sound
    • Low battery
    • Critical low battery
    • Battery preservation mode
    • Startup/Shutdown
    • Software update
    • Service notifications
    • New message
    • Wi-Fi off
    • Network selection
    • Connected Device Joins
    • SIM status
    • Roaming
    • USB mode
    • Charging device

    Save
