Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Enabling a SIM PIN provides extra security to your razr+ 2026, helping to prevent unauthorized use and protect your personal info if your device is misplaced or stolen.

Before you begin

Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card, so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to get a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK). If you have Prepaid service, contact customer service to get the PUK.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security & privacy
    More security & privacy
    SIM lock
    .
  3. If necessary, select the applicable SIM.
  4. Tap
    Lock SIM
     to turn on or off.
  5. Enter the SIM PIN then tap
    OK
    .
    The default SIM PIN is 1111.
  6. To change your SIM PIN, ensure 'Lock SIM' is turned on, tap
    Change SIM PIN
     then follow the onscreen prompts.
