Apple iPad - Turn Notifications On / Off

Here's how to turn status bar or banner notifications for your iPad on or off.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
     on your Apple® iPad®.
  2. Tap
    Notifications
    .
  3. Tap the desired app (e.g., App Store, Messages, Email, etc.).
  4. Tap the
    Allow Notifications switch
     to turn on or off.
    Turning on notifications may impact battery life.
  5. From the 'Alerts' section, select the desired options:
    • Lock Screen
    • Notification Center
    • Banners
  6. Tap the
    Badges switch
     to turn on or off.
