Turn the Find My App On / Off

Turning the Find My app on or off gives you control over your location tracking. This is useful for security, privacy, or if you ever need to locate your Apple® iPad® if it's lost.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap the
    Apple profile
    .
  3. Navigate:
    Find My
    Find My iPad
    .
  4. Tap the
    Find My iPad switch
     to turn on or off.
  5. If prompted, enter your Apple ID password then tap
    Turn Off
    .
  6. If desired, tap the
    Send Last Location switch
     to turn on or off.
