Activate / Set Up Device - LG G Pad 8.3 LTE

Here's how to quickly set up your G Pad 8.3 LTE.
If you're upgrading your existing Verizon device, follow these steps to activate before proceeding with the instructions below.
To avoid potential issues, review the following:
  • Accounts (e.g., Gmail, email, etc.) should be set up after activating the device (see Additional Support section at the bottom of this page).
  • If performing a first-time (out-of-the-box) setup, ensure the SIM card is inserted.
  • To activate the device on prepaid service, refer to Set up Verizon Prepaid Data Service.
  1. If powered off, press and hold the
    Power button
     (located on the right edge) until the LG logo appears then release.
    Allow 4-5 seconds for the logo to appear.
  2. From the Welcome screen, tap the appropriate language then tap
    Next
     (located in the lower-right).
    Allow several seconds for activation to complete
  3. From the Tablet Activation screen, tap
    Next

  4. From the Set Up Wi-Fi screen, tap
    Skip
    .
  5. From the Email Accounts screen, tap
    Skip
    .
  6. From the Add your account screen, tap
    Skip
     then tap
    Skip Anyway
    .
  7. From the Name screen enter the desired info then tap

  8. From the Google services screen, tap any of the following services to enable or disable then tap

    • Help improve location services
    • Help improve your Android experience
  9. From the Summary screen, tap
    Done
