Manage Hotspot Settings - LG G Pad 8.3 LTE

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your LG G Pad 8.3.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    More
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Tap the
    On Switch
     to enable Mobile Hotspot.
  4. Tap
    Set up
    .
  5. Configure the following then tap
    Save
    .
    • Network name (SSID)
    • Broadcast SSID
    • From the Frequency Dropdown menu Dropdown icon select either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz.
    • Security type (None or WPA2 Personal)
    • Password
      1. Tap the
        Password (security key) field
        .
      2. Enter the preferred password.
        Password must be at least 8 characters.
        The new password must be entered on the connecting device.
    • 802.11 Mode (e.g., b only, g only, b/g/n)
    • From the Broadcast channel Dropdown menu Dropdown icon select the appropriate channel (Auto, 1 - 11)
    • From the Number of connected devices Dropdown menu Dropdown icon, select the preferred number of devices (1-10)
