Move Media Files to / from Computer - LG G Pad 8.3 LTE

Here's how to transfer pictures, video or music files between your LG G Pad 8.3 LTE and a computer.
Only unprotected video / music files can be transferred using this method.
  1. Connect your LG G Pad 8.3 LTE to a computer using the supplied USB cable.
  2. If prompted to allow access to your data, tap
    Allow
    .
    1. If necessary, touch and hold the
      Status bar
       (at the top) then drag to the bottom.
      The image below is an example.

    2. From the list of notifications, locate then tap the
      USB icon
       USB icon (e.g., USB charging, USB for image transfer, etc.).
      If necessary, tap the notification to expand it.
    3. Select
      Media sync (MTP)
      .
      Selected when a blue dot is present.
  3. From your computer, open File Explorer or Windows Explorer.
    Using the computer keyboard, press the
    Windows+E
     (Windows key logo+E)
    keys
    .
    Alternatively, right-click
    Start
     then click 'Open Windows Explorer' or 'File Explorer'.
  4. Using File Explorer or Windows Explorer, navigate:
    VK810 4G
    Internal Storage
    .
    VK810 4G is listed under the 'Devices and drives' section of 'This PC'.
    Device name reflects your device model (e.g., VK810 4G) or its customized name.
  5. Utilize the computer to copy media files between the appropriate folder on the device and the desired location on the computer's hard drive.
    Some folders that may contain files on the device include:
    • DCIM\Camera
    • Download
    • Movies
    • Pictures
    • Music
  6. When finished, disconnect the USB cable from the computer.
