Transfer Data via SmartShare Beam™ - LG G Pad 8.3 LTE

Here's how to wirelessly transfer data from your LG G Pad 8.3 to another NFC-capable device.
  • To utilize the DLNA/SmartShare app, an active Wi-Fi connection must be established and the SmartShare settings may be adjusted as desired. Refer to the following for assistance:
  • To share media with other devices (e.g. computer, TV, etc.), they must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and may need to be configured for sharing. Refer to the equipment manufacturer for assistance.
  1. From a home screen, navigate:

    Settings Settings icon

  2. From Settings, tap
    Share & connect
     Share and connect icon .
  3. From the Wireless Networks section, tap
    Share & connect
     .
  4. From Data/Media Share, tap
    SmartShare Beam
     .
    Tap the SmartShare Beam
    On/Off switch
     to enable On indicator (located in the upper-right).
  5. Tap your tablet name to rename then tap
    Save
     .
  6. Tap
    Storage
     then tap the desired option.
    • Internal storage
    • SD card
  7. Tap
    Auto-accept requests
     to enable or disable.
    Enabled when a check mark Check box icon is present.
  8. Tap
    Timeout
     then tap the desired option.
    • 5 minutes
    • 10 minutes
    • 15 minutes
    • Off
  9. To verify the transfer(s), tap
