Add a User Account - LG G Pad 8.3 LTE

Here's how to add a user account to your LG G Pad 8.3 LTE.

  1. From a home screen, tap
    Apps
     Apps icon .
  2. From the Apps tab, tap
    Settings
     Settings icon .
  3. From the Personal section, tap
    Users
     users icon .
  4. Tap
    Add user
     Add icon .
  5. Tap
    User
     .
    Create a new user account. Users have their own apps and content.
  6. Tap
    OK
     .
  7. Tap
    Set up now
     .
  8. Drag the lock symbol to the right of the screen to unlock.
  9. Tap the
    Next icon
     Next arrow icon (located in the lower-right).
  10. Tap
    Yes
     (existing Google account).
  11. Enter the following information then tap
    Done
     .
    • Email
    • Password
  12. After reviewing the Terms of Service / Privacy Policy tap
    OK

  13. Tap the
    Next icon
     Next arrow icon (located in the lower right).
  14. Enter the appropriate name into the following fields then tap

    Google+ setup can be resumed by navigating

     from the home screen.

    Google Pay setup can be completed later by navigating
    Apps
    Play Store
     from a home screen, tap a paid app then tap
    Add payment method

    Set lock

    Password

  8. Enter a password then tap
    Continue

    The password must be at least 8 characters.
    Alternatively, select other password options (e.g., Face unlock, Pattern, PIN, etc.)
  9. Re-enter the password. then tap
    OK
     .
  10. Tap
    New profile
     .
  11. Enter a profile name then tap
    OK
     .
  12. Tap the desired Application and Content Restriction switches to enable On indicator or disable Off indicator (e.g. Settings, Calculator, Email, Chrome, etc.).
