Ring Tones & Ringback Tones - Terms & Conditions

Ringtones Terms and Conditions

Subject to Customer Agreement. Each ringtone purchased is only valid for use on the handset to which it is delivered. The ringtone will be delivered to your handset via a MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) message. If your account has SMS or MMS block enabled at the time you confirm this purchase you will not be able to receive the MMS message containing the ringtone. However, your account will still be billed. You must save the ringtone to your handset, otherwise when you delete the MMS message containing the ringtone, you will no longer have access to the ringtone and will need to purchase it again if you want to use the ringtone. Please note, based on the type of handset you are using the sound quality of the ringtone you are purchasing may differ from the sound quality available through the Preview on the Verizon Wireless website.

Ringback Tones Service Terms and Conditions

Subject to Customer Agreement. Voicemail and subscription to Ringback Tones required. Subscription is $0.99 per month. Verizon Wireless reserves the right to assign Voicemail to you, at no charge, if you don't have it at the time of subscription or if it is dropped during subscription. Text Messaging charges and restrictions apply when subscribing through Text Messaging. Subscription may be terminated at any time, but subscription charge will not be prorated. A default Ringback Tone, designated by Verizon Wireless and subject to change at any time, provided with subscription. Additional tones, up to 100 at any one time, may be purchased separately through an annual license of $1.99 per Ringback Tone. Prepaid subscribers must have sufficient funds in their account in order to subscribe to Ringback Tones or purchase tones. Prepaid subscribers will be billed every 31 days for the monthly recurring subscription to Ringback Tones.

In certain markets, callers may hear up to one full standard Ringback Tone before the music is played.  Subscriptions for tones terminate when cancelled or when subscription to Ringback Tones is cancelled. Subscription charge for Ringback Tones will not be prorated. You agree not to copy, reproduce, sublicense, transfer or assign Ringback Tones or use them for any unauthorized purpose. Ringback Tones may not be available for immediate use. It could take up to 24 hours for the service to be activated. All company names, trademarks, logos, and copyrights not property of Verizon Wireless are the property of their respective owners.

Callers will hear the Caller Greeting prior to the Ringback Tone being played. The Caller Greeting will help introduce Ringback Tones to your callers. You can add or delete the Caller Greeting at any time during your subscription by accessing "My Settings." Please Note: The Caller Greeting is an optional feature that may be altered, changed or removed by Verizon Wireless at any time.
