Gizmo Watch 3 introduces kids to wireless technology safely. Only parent-approved contacts¹ can call or text your child’s watch, and the watch can’t access any internet content. Use the GizmoHub app² on your phone to easily keep up on your child’s Gizmo location on the map. With an SOS button, voice and video calling³, and text messaging, staying in touch with your child is as close as their wrist. And now, Gizmo Watch 3 includes a touchscreen keyboard for kids to type precisely what they want to say in their messages.

GizmoWatch 3 now includes a touchscreen keyboard so kids can say exactly what they want to say, instead of being limited to a list of prewritten messages. They can have a text chat with a parent-approved contacts individually or with everyone at once in a Gizmo group chat. Using the GizmoHub app, parents can create their child’s Gizmo chat groups and select members for the group.

Stay focused, be active and have fun.

Encourage a sense of responsibility in your child by creating a task list in the GizmoHub app that syncs with the Gizmo Watch 3, as does setting a daily step goal. For fun, there's Tic-Tac-Toe, a timed jumping game, a pattern-matching game called Gizmo Says, and Puzzle. Kids can even learn about the local weather forecast from their Gizmo Watch 3 and choose a digital watch face that changes with the seasons.

Let kids be Gizmo buddies.

Siblings or friends with Gizmo watches can be set up in the GizmoHub app as Gizmo buddies⁶ so they can call, video call or message each other with emojis, photos and voice or video recordings. In addition, Gizmo Watch 3 has a new way to make Gizmo buddies. If two Gizmo Watch 3's are in the same room, they can find each other's watches via Bluetooth and send requests to their parents to be Gizmo buddies.

Worry less about the “where are you?”

Of course, your child's location is a top concern. That's why location and map features are front and center on the GizmoHub app. Create multiple location alerts to know your child's location at a specific time each day, or when they cross in or out of specific areas. Tap the refresh location or real-time tracking buttons to get location updates on demand. Also, your child can easily use their Gizmo Watch 3 to check in and send you a real-time location notification.

I bought this watch less than 5 hours ago. Spent my whole day in the verizon store. My son was so excited to use it on his first day of school. It WILL NOT charge. One quick google search and it shows that the verizon chargers they provide are faulty and this is a common problem. Just went through all the hoops of trying to reset it, and get some help from a staff member. They just wanted me to send it back and purchase a new one. VERY frustrated. Pick a different watch.

The idea and the specs of the watch I like, but while my child is at school, it cannot locate them the entire time. That is the main reason I purchased this watch. It will not update location for multiple hours and 2x it has turned itself off, while showing it is still on through the app. If it does pick up a location, it will say they are in the next town over.

My son had this watch for the past 10 months. He got 4 replacement under warranty for malfunctions. Each time we lost 1ish week of use. Lig broke 2 times, software stopped 3 times. This is a total joke. Camera is a good concept but video quality sub, gets over heated for video calls and hangs up on its own after 1ish min due to overheating.

Is it waterproof

Gizmo Watch 3 is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance. Its screen has Gorilla Glass 3. If you are interested in a tougher screen, you may want to consider the Gizmo Watch 3 - Adventure model which has a diamond-like carbon coating (DLC). -Joseph
