Who is eligible for the Verizon 55+ senior plan?
This plan is a local offer for Florida residents only and isn't available in any other states at this time. Eligible customers must be 55 years or older and a new Verizon mobile customer. The 55+ discount requires you to be on the Unlimited Welcome plan as it is not currently available on the Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate plans.
What happens if I add a third line or more when I have the Florida 55+ Mobile Discount on my account?
You will be upgraded to the multi-line pricing discount.
Can I keep my current phone with the 55+ plan?
Yes, eligible Florida residents can keep their current phone when signing up for Florida 55+ Mobile Discount, provided the device is compatible with Verizon's network. You can ensure your device is unlocked and supports Verizon's network bands by verifying compatibility here on our Bring Your Own Device page.
Is the Florida 55+ Mobile Discount available outside of Florida?
No, currently the Florida 55+ Mobile Discount is currently only available to Florida residents, 55 years or older. If you're outside Florida, you may be eligible for other ways to save such as
- An Auto Pay and paper-free billing discount
- A Mobile + Home discount (with a qualifying Home Internet plan)
