The Defender Series Pro Case with MagSafe for iPhone 17 Pro, is OtterBox's toughest case, and provides rugged protection against harsh drops. MagSafe compatible and with port covers, this case is designed for peak protection. Built-in anchors let you connect phone straps and charms and it is made in part with 35% recycled content. It features a tri-layer design with a silicone outer cover, rigid inner shell, and memory foam backing that work together to deflect whatever bumps and tumbles might come your way, adding up to intense drop defense of up to 7x military standard¹. Plus, it features raised edges that protect the camera and the screen and it's equipped with corners that absorb shock, all-over texturing for great grip, and a built-in camera control button for seamless interaction.

After many years as an otter box user and fan this years offering was very disappointing. The fit of the case was not adequate. The edges of the top of the new orange phone showed and constantly shifted and moved in the case. As stated earlier Otterbox was always my go to case for every phone. Sadly, I have returned the case and am trying another. On the positive, my wife is still using her Otters for both iPad and iPhone and I have been using my iPad Otterbox for 5 years. Return to the quality of the past and I will likely return.

Defender series is the best case in the market. It is the most sturdy case and I feel confident when I have it on my iPhone 17 pro max. I had it for all my prior Iphone as well

The case looks nice, seems sturdy, but after 1.5 months the case is noticeably too big for the phone. The button areas squeak without pressing down on the button because there is this tiny bit of extra room on either side, making it seem flimsy
